Why Nature Photography?
Being a biologist I have always been intrigued with the living world. To capture it on film is a challenge beyond compare. With millions of millions of living things to photo, a person could use a high speed camera (8 frames or so a sec)and shoot non-stop their whole life. I never took the time the time to do the math but I think there would still be much to photograph. Add the parameter of continual motion and activity on the part of living things and you have one very interesting hobby, and little chance of boredom!

About My Travels
I have spent much of my free time traveling , Often I return to try and capture that elusive shot that I missed the last trip, but heres the partial list (partial because I am always adding onto it)..

Everglades National park, Fl- by far my favorite place in the world (been there 6 times since 1994).

Coastal Texas birding tour/Carolinas- various locations/ Northern mountains of Vermont/ Gaspe Pennisula, Quebec (2 times)/most state parks in Connecticut/Cape Cod, Massachussettes/and many more..

On the To Do list..

Costa Rica, Australia, and Alaska.
